Huffy Green Machine Review

The new generation of the Huffy Green Machine is a far cry from its ancestors which first came on the scene in the 70′s (I did have one of the originals by the way). This new and improved 3 wheeled cruiser is incredibly durable with its steel frame and can handle all the harsh abuse that the kids can give it. This cruiser has been one of the best toys that I have ever purchased for my kids. The green machine has lasted for over a year now and I am just amazed at how durable and fun it has been for my family.

The Green Machine, which has a sleek and stable, low-profile design that can pick up speed with its high-traction 20-inch rubber front tire will be a thrill for anyone that rides it. The best part about the cruiser are the  joy stick handles which allow the bike to be thrown into its signature spin-outs.  The wide rear wheels make the huffy green machine stable as it spins out.

A great choice for advanced riders, it offers an adjustable seat that fits a wide variety of kids. Other features include a front-wheel hand brake offers sure stopping power, platform resin pedals with steel crank shafts, oversized chrome exhaust pipes on the back, and an orange safety flag. It’s recommended for riders age 6 and older.

Huffy Green Machine 2

The Huffy Green Machine 2 is an excellent toy for kids. This is one toy that keeps them active and outside rather than hung up on their PlayStation or other video game consoles. The Huffy seat is easily adjusted allowing for different ages and different sizes. This is one of the hottest toys of the year, and will surely be a hit with not only your kids, but probably all the kids in the neighborhood too!

Get ready for a thrill of a ride with the new huffy green machine three-wheeled cruiser. The new green machine is an updated version of the original three-wheeled cruiser, which was invented in 1975. This newer model is a durable, sleek ride that defines cool.

With its chopper-style design and laid-back riding position, the Green Machine is the most fun you can have on three wheels. This trike has a strong steel construction and is built to transport kids of all shapes and sizes. The seat easily adjusts and the bike can hold up to 180 pounds!

The Huffy Green Machine is easily controlled by dual-joysticks at the front which includes the steering and braking mechanisms. With a large free-wheel front tire and two super-wide rear wheels, the Green Machine is especially designed for hours of sidewalk spin-outs. However, spin-outs often result in wipe-outs, so make sure you wear a helmet.

Huffy Green Machine Video

I wanted to include a video for you so that you have a better idea of what this cruiser can really do. Your kids will have an absolute blast riding this cruiser, just make sure they wear a helmet and don’t get too crazy with the stunts!

This video gives you a pretty good idea of some of the tricks that can be accomplished on the huffy green machines.

Customer Review

This update of the old Big Wheel style “Green Machine” is made to handle the height, weight and wear and tear of big boys (and girls, up to the latter 30s have even been caught on it), yet the seat is easily adjusted so that the average 5-year-old can reach its pedals. The main cool feature is the dual lever steering. Just like with the original hollow model plastic version, pulling on the steering levers in opposite directions sends the machine into a wicked spin-out that kids just can’t get enough of. Yet under the usage of some pretty crazy 6, 9 and 12 year olds on a steep downhill driveway, the machine has almost always remained three wheels on the ground.

So first, I am amazed at the staying play value of this toy. For two years now, it has been the first toy out of the garage every time the door opens. And second, I am amazed at its durability. The 9 year old who uses it reguarly is an Evel Kneivel who is notorious for breaking my children’s toys left and right, and so far, it has held up without a squeak. (Annapolis, MD USA)
